The bizarre Liam Fox affair has resulted in a new quandary for anti HS2 campaigners: a new Secretary of State for Transport.
After the resignation of Liam Fox, the current boss of all things transport, Philip Hammond, was hurriedly moved to fill his post. Filling Hammond's shoes is Justine Greening.
Justine Greening was Economic Secretary to the Treasury and this represents a promotion. She may or may not know what's in store for her when she dusts off the HS2 file and sees what's in it.
Meanwhile, Philip Hammond is now Secretary of State for Defence. Having failed to keep control of anti-democratic Stasi-like attack dogs HS2 Limited, it is somewhat worrying that the people he is now in charge of have things like tanks & missiles at their disposal.
