The Warwickshire Hunt has been involved with team chasing for many years, and it is with great excitement that it launches a brand new event this Sunday, to be held at Hill Farm, Watergall, near Southam.
Dubbed the horse world’s ‘extreme sport’, team chasing certainly provides thrills and spills as teams of four horses gallop and jump across country against the clock. But it is also a sport for all the family, and one in which young and old can compete on equal terms.
Winners of the flagship Intermediate class will receive a beautiful new trophy donated in memory of Jo Rugman, joint honorary secretary of the Warwickshire and a member of leading team Lycetts A Class Act, who tragically died in a riding accident this spring.
The Intermediate class also counts towards the Goring Hotels accumulator, sponsored by the family owned hotel company which played such a major role in the Royal Wedding.
There will also be Trade Stands, Licensed Bar and Catering from Local Suppliers. The Warwickshire Hunt Team Chase is set to become an important fixture in sporting and social calendars so don’t miss it! – Admission will be just £5 per car for a great day out !
